Green Rum and Coke in the Caribbean? Celebrate St Patrick's Day In The Tropics of Montserrat - Or Wear The T Shirt

St Patrick's Day - A Full National Public Holiday In The Caribbean Island of Montserrat

The island of Montserrat in the Caribbean is the only country outside the Republic of Ireland to celebrate St Patrick's Day as a full public holiday. The island owes its Irish heritage to those sent to the island of Montserrat to work alongside African slaves as forced labor.

The T shirt features part of the Montserrat flag, the coat of arms with Erin, the female personification of Ireland dressed in green, against a cross and holding the golden harp of Ireland. Two shamrocks stand either side of the coat of arms (These are not part of the official flag, but if you ever visit Montserrat expect your passport to be stamped with a shamrock)

The text states "Irish in The Caribbean Montserrat" but this text is easy to change and the shirt is easy to customize and personalize.

An unusually different Irish T Shirt to celebrate St Patrick's Day or any other day of the year. If you have the fortune to visit Montserrat, this shirt is one way of livening up the holiday.

If you live on the island consider re-branding, buying in bulk and re-selling to travelers.

The shirt will be a reminder that there are always far warmer tropical climates to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
