Northern Ireland Ulster Flag on iPhone 4 Case

Red Hand of Ulster NI International Football Flag On An iPhone Case

A few days ago on the blog you saw a flag of the four provinces of Ireland displayed on it. One of the provinces cited was Ulster. Six of the nine counties of Ulster form Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK. The Ulster flag above isn't a government flag but it does share one common feature with the All Ireland Provinces Flag in international sports; it is traditionally used by supporters of the Northern Ireland Football team at national and International matches.

It features the Red Hand of Ulster inside a white star at the centre of the red cross, a Crown above it on the uppermost point of the 6 points of the star, representing the six counties of Ulster. The design is also available for an iPhone 3G. More Irish themed iPhone and iPad case designs in the sidebar on the left.

More on Irish history at a later time in the blog.
